Description
Description
HydroQuip 26-2001-7S-K | 5.5kW Flo-Thru Replacement Heater
The 26-2001-7S-K is engineered for durability and precise fitment. It features a high-output 5.5kW Incoloy element and a 13.5-inch stainless steel housing. Unlike "M7" style heaters that use dual sensors for flow detection, this unit is designed for systems that rely on a traditional pressure switch, featuring a dedicated 1/8" NPT tap for easy installation.
Key Features
-
Specific 13.5-Inch Manifold: Perfectly sized for older spa configurations where a standard 15" heater is too long to fit the existing plumbing.
-
High-Grade Incoloy 800 Element: Provides superior heat transfer and resistance to the "pitting" caused by chemical imbalances in the water.
-
Versatile Power Output: Delivers a powerful 5.5kW at 240V (for fast heating) or can be wired for 1.375kW at 120V.
-
Integrated Pressure Switch Tap: Features a 1/8" NPT threaded port located at the "12 o'clock" position for straightforward pressure switch mounting.
-
316L Stainless Steel Construction: High-quality housing ensures the unit won't rust or corrode over time.

Installation Advice
Because this heater is often used to replace older units in systems that have seen years of service, the pressure switch is frequently the first part to fail. While this heater comes as a "Gen" kit, it does not include the pressure switch. To ensure a successful repair and avoid "FLO" errors, technicians usually recommend installing a new Tecmark 3902 pressure switch at the same time.
