Balboa G7416 | 2.0kW VS100 Flow-Thru Heater Assembly
The G7416 is the factory-standard heater for many small, 2-3 person hot tubs (like those from Dreammaker, Freeflow, or AquaTerra). It utilizes Balboa’s patented M7 technology, which uses dual internal sensors to monitor both water flow and temperature. This digital system is far more reliable than old-fashioned mechanical pressure switches, as it can detect a "dry fire" before the element is damaged.
Key Features
-
Low-Amperage Performance: Rated at 2.0kW at 240V or 0.5kW (500W) at 120V, making it ideal for 110V/120V "Plug-and-Play" configurations.
-
M7 Smart Sensors: Includes two pre-installed M7 sensors with 12-inch leads and 2-pin connectors.
-
Ultra-Compact Manifold: The 10-inch stainless steel tube is designed to fit into the extremely tight equipment bays found in rotationally molded (plastic) spas.
-
Incoloy 800 Element: High-quality super-alloy element provides excellent resistance to "pitting" and chemical corrosion.
-
OEM Connectivity: Comes with a 34-inch power cord and a standard 4-pin AMP connector for instant connection to the VS100 circuit board.

Important Note for Owners
If your spa is currently taking a very long time to heat up (or can't keep up with the cold), check your voltage. Because this is a 2.0kW heater, it is designed for efficiency rather than raw speed. If you are replacing a heater in a system that was recently converted from 120V to 240V, you might want to verify if your control board can support the higher-output G7414 (4.0kW) model instead.
