Description

Balboa G7512 | 5.5kW M7 Flo-Thru Heater Assembly

The Balboa G7512 is the industry-standard replacement heater for almost all modern Balboa control systems. This "workhorse" model is a direct upgrade or replacement for the widely used 58083 heater. Designed with the patented M7 technology, it uses dual internal sensors to track water flow and temperature digitally, eliminating the need for old-fashioned, failure-prone pressure switches.

It is highly versatile, found in everything from entry-level VS systems to high-end BP and EL/GL series spa packs.

Key Features

  • High-Output Performance: Delivers a powerful 5.5kW at 240V for rapid heating, or 1.375kW at 120V for plug-and-play setups.

  • M7 Smart Sensors: Includes two factory-installed M7 sensors (24-inch leads) for precision safety and "dry fire" protection.

  • Incoloy 800 Element: Features a high-grade heating element specifically designed to resist corrosion and mineral scale buildup.

  • "Plug-and-Click" Compatibility: Often ships with the latest 4-pin "Plug-and-Click" connector, making it compatible with the newest BP systems (though this can be removed for older wire-nut configurations).

  • Universal Fit: The 15-inch stainless steel housing fits most standard spa plumbing configurations.

Installation Tip

The G7512 is a "Drop-In" replacement. If you are replacing an older version that used copper straps to connect to the circuit board, it is highly recommended to switch to modern heater cables (p/n 48-0023) to ensure a more secure, heat-resistant connection.

Note: This unit typically includes the split-nut unions and sensors, but does not usually include the 2-inch gaskets.
