Description
HydroQuip 48-9121-7S-K | 5.5kW High-Flow Arctic Spa Replacement
The 48-9121-7S-K is designed for mid-to-large Arctic Spas that require maximum heating efficiency. It features a specialized 12-inch manifold that accommodates the high-flow plumbing common in Arctic’s dual-pump systems. The Incoloy 800 element provides excellent heat transfer and is engineered to withstand the mineral content of standard tap water, making it a reliable choice for traditional chlorine or bromine systems.
Key Features
-
Optimized for Arctic Spas: Specifically designed to fit the M-Class and Global control systems found in Arctic and Coyote Spa models.
-
Incoloy 800 Element: High-performance super-alloy element designed for rapid heat recovery and resistance to oxidation.
-
12-Inch Compact Manifold: A shorter, specialized stainless steel tube that fits precisely in the original factory mounting brackets.
-
Side-Mounted Pressure Tap: Features a 1/8" NPT threaded tap oriented at the "3 o'clock" position for easy pressure switch integration.
-
Direct Terminal Wiring: Comes with a 48-inch power cord featuring ring/spade terminals for a secure, direct-to-board electrical connection.

Compatibility Note: Incoloy vs. Titanium
This model (the 7S-K) uses an Incoloy element, which is perfect for standard water chemistry. However, if you have recently converted your Arctic Spa to a saltwater system (like Onzen), you may want to consider the 48-9120-7P-K instead, as its Titanium element is better suited for the corrosive nature of salt.
What's in the Box?
12" Stainless Steel Heater Tube
5.5kW Incoloy Element (Pre-installed)
48" Power Cord with Ring Terminals
Two 2" Split Nut Unions, Tailpieces, and Gaskets
Note: This unit does not include a pressure switch. If your spa is currently displaying a "FLO" or "OH" error code, I recommend replacing the pressure switch (typically a Tecmark 3902) at the same time as the heater.
